This past weekend I had the opportunity of being at a home school conference. I was able to have a table there at the conference to display the work that I have done as a photographer. Here is a picture that my mom took of me at my table. :)

Latest Adventure!

I would like to share with you my latest adventure on this road of photography! Over the past few weeks I have been working on this, trying to get it together. I thought it would be a lot easier, but there were many road blocks along the way. It was definitely a great learning experience! Thankfully everything worked out in the end.

Beautiful Day...wonderful photo session!

God blessed us with a beautiful day today....Praise the Lord! I had a wonderful afternoon with a highschool senior girl and her mom, taking the girl's senior portraits. We were able to find a beautiful location where the Spring tulips, and other spring flowers are still in bloom. With the rich green color and with splashes of other colors we had a great time taking in all of God's creation! Thank you for the great photo session....and for the great creativity of different poses!  It was great working with you today! God bless you as you walk onto new paths of life!

Beauty of Nature...

This week I took a walk around our yard and down by the creek trying to capture the beauty of nature. I was also pretty desperate because I had to take a couple pictures to send into for the class I'm taking. ;-) Thankfully  I was able to capture some very beautiful scenes.  I know a lot of people don't like dandelions...but I thought this scene was just beautiful and really reflects the beauty of God.

Spring Photo Shoot!

Yesterday was a wonderful day because I had another photo shoot with H for her spring high school senior portraits! As I was driving to the Farm I wasn't too sure how it was going to go because it was starting to rain. I quickly begged our dear Lord to have some mercy on us...and please to let the rain start an hour later! After a few minutes the rain stopped! Praise the Lord! I got to the Farm and soon after we started the photo shoot. In this small plot of land there was so much beauty to work with, it was invigorating!! We walked around the Farm and got many different poses all around the Farm. We had a great time! 

Thanks H for being so patient with me, and working so well with me, even though at times I was at a loss at how to have you pose! :-o It has been great working with you! =)

On another note... I created a photo book online and today I received it in the mail! It is really cool to see the portraits that I have taken printed in this book! Printed photos are so much better than seeing them on a screen. Anyway, I hope that you all can see my book sometime!

Studio time!

I now have a portable studio, which I think is pretty cool! I find artificial lighting a lot different from natural lighting. Personally I prefer natural lighting, but I but studio portraits are great too! It is also a lot more convenient because you don't have to rely on good weather! ;)

Historical Photo Shoot!

This Wisconsin weather has been so beautiful this entire Spring! What a blessing! Yesterday my sisters and I found some time to go and have a photoshoot! As a family we have loved touring old historic buildings. Old World Wisconsin is one our favorite places...and one summer we went there so many times that my older sisters had the stories of each house memorized! When we take our trips to VA we try to see what historic house we can visit next! Here in our city we have a historical site, which my sisters and I just visited for the first time, believe it or not! :) It is called Dousman Stage Coach Inn. There are a few buildings on this site, but a perfect place for a photoshoot!
